This is a must have if you are going to get any of the urban decay eyeshadows. Makes the shadows and liner stay for hours. I use it sometimes with just the liner and I can go to school, work and come home and STILL have liner on!

4 Stars Very Good Buy
I use this on a daily basis. It goes on easily and really gives your eyeshadow staying power. I’m not a fan of the applicator because you touch it directly to your skin but I guess its fine if you apply it to clean skin. Also the tube holds more than actually comes out. You’ll see this if you carefully cut the tube in half. You have to put the remainder in a air tight container or it will dry up. It does work with out drying your skin but a lot of the product seems wasted in the curves of the tube.

I always end up sweating off my eyeshadow by the end of the work day, which is super frustrating if I have somewhere to be right after work. I have tried other primers that are really sticky and don’t let me blend my eyeshadow how I want to. I bought this product for my wedding and I am completely in love! It works amazingly and is worth the price! In fact, it probably saves me money because I don’t have to reapply my eyeshadow. My shadow stays all day without creasing and it makes my eye shadow color pop!

Drakkar is the most memorable scent I have ever smelled.

While it could be worn by women, it’s a very masculine scent.

Crisp, sensual and magnetic is how I would describe it.

Strong enough that only a small amount needs to be worn to have the desired effect.

It’s very difficult to describe it more in words; but I agree with the previous womans’ review: it does something to a woman.

Men wearing this should be prepared for women to desire to be close to him.

4 Stars The Blush of This Year
I reinvented my makeup looks recently. I disposed products I wasn’t happy with and products with pigments I am ready to retire. I wanted to stray away from rose and baked colors, for more daring looks like bright peaches and summer pinks.I bought the NARS orgasm blush because of all the hype. You would think it was liquid gold in a compact.

I am nineteen years old. I have rich tan skin that is combination. My forehead, and chin is acne-free. My cheeks tend to break out.I’ve always been told darker skin tones can’t wear bright blushes, which I find untrue.

I LIKED HOW NARS ORGASM LOOKS ON ME.

It is a bright peachish pink with flecks of gold.

Good points and Bad Points….

1. The packgaging is sleek and compact. It doesn’t come with an applicator. I like it doesn’t come with an applicator because I love to apply with a MAC foundation brushes.

2. The color is buildable. A big kabuki brush works wonders for subtle color, but you could also get your cheeks almost doll-like.

3. It lasts long, it lasts long on your face, it lasts long in the compact, money lasts long in your wallet.

Bad Points

1. the flecks of gold seemed to irritate me and break out my skin

2. I prefer the big tin of Cargo blushes, because it gets less messy

5 Stars Best powder blush
I’ve been wearing this for years. I saw a photo in a magazine of Julia Roberts and they talked about her makeup and said she was wearing Nars powder blush in a shade called “Orgasm.” It looked great on her (close-up shot) so I checked it out in the store and loved it. I bought it and have been wearing it ever since. It is light in texture in terms of how it feels but it is also light in how it looks, light and natural. When I wear this I always get compliments on my skin — like the color is natural and coming from me. (And I don’t tell them otherwise!) But for a product this light feeling it seems to stay on really well.

First time I purchased NARS and I am exceedingly pleased. Selecting your particular shade is the most difficult. I purchased Mata Hari (pink yet suttle). I also purchased the Lip Gloss in ‘chihuahau’ also pleased with this product. Only complaint is NO BRUSH and the products are extremely expensive for my blood.

5 Stars Best Blushes to Date
As a makeup lover, I have to say this is the highlight of NARS’ entire line. The blushes come in a range of flattering shades for every skin type. To find makeup that is universally flattering for almost every person in the world is hard to do. As an african american female (NC 45), I have been able to find at least 5 shades that are perfect.

Taj Mahal: I believe that this is a must have for women of color. Its a brighter golden orange and looks scary in the pan. All you would need is a small bit on the cheeks and it instantly warms up the skin.

Exhibit A: Another scary color in the pan but looks great on skin. It is a matte red and again, all you need is a touch.

Torrid: To me this is the blush that is Orgasm for women of color. Orgasm on darker skin looks like a pinkish highlighter and doesn’t deposit much color on the face. Torrid is a darker (darker than Orgasm) peachy pink color that I use to give my face a nice flush.

Mounia: A darker plum color with shimmer, looks great on the darkest of girls, a great option for sultry or glamourous looks.

Taos: A darker dusty rose color with some gold. This blush is a nice option for days I want to try something different.

Albatross: Not a blush but a highlighter, it goes on the tops of your cheekbones to define and highlight that area. Looks white in pan but goes on the skin like a gold shade, creates a candlelit glow to the face.

I would definitely say to try out at least one NARS’ blush as I’m sure you’ll likely find one that you love. They are extremely pigmented, which is why you only need the tinest amount, and long lasting. To me they’re worth every penny.

A lot of say that NARS blush, especially the Orgasm shade, sells like hotcakes just because of the name, and that’s probably true. However, it also happens to be a very good product. The blush is a very fine powder and goes on well with a large brush. It’s easily blendable, and the Orgasm shade gives my extremely fair skin a very pretty flush. I definitely recommend it.

4 Stars Easy to use but not for all faces
My thanks to MJ for the extensive review and the common sense advice about skin care. I have used Bare Minerals Foundation and Soft Focus for several years on my normal-to-dry face with generally very good results. I agree with those who caution about expecting this product to hide or cure all face problems. My complexion is texturally smooth with some unevenness of color due to age, and the products have done well to minimize (NOT HIDE) the imperfections. I like Bare Minerals ease of use and the way they feel on my skin, so I accept the incomplete concealment. With a couple of other people, I find that as I age, I have to use the powders with more care, since even a little too much can accentuate lines and shadows. At some point, I’ll probably have to abandon powder makeup, but until then, I’ll stay with the Bare Minerals products that have been so good for me.

3 Stars A Unique Idea for a Product
BareMinerals isn’t the greatest foundation out there. It isn’t the worst either. It was just okay. There are a few aspects to this product I really like, and I wish could become aspects of my other favorite products.

A. I enjoy how it let my skin shine through.I could spend my money trying to get a skin routine to improve my natural skin, instead of covering up my skin. A little goes a long, long way. It is a light to medium coverage foundation. If I tried to apply heavy coverage it irritated my skin and left a shiny, cakey look. Definitely not for people looking for heavy coverage/ photofinished looks. It is nonbuildable.

B. I use the tan kit, and I think you are supposed to mix pots to create a genuine color, but medium tan looks perfect on me. I like how the color stays on, and the color you put on is the color you stay with throughout the day, no matter the undertone of your skin.

C. The starter kit is 60 dollars and comes with high quality brushes. Not something you can find purchasing a liquid foundation.

D. Pots last a long time, if product is put on and used correctly. If you take care of your skin adequately.

BareMinerals puts you under the assumption because a product is a powder it is lighter than a liquid. Not always true. My favorite liquid foundation is much lighter, and not to mention a drugstore brand ( Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup) Like BareMinerals it isn’t for someone who needs heavy coverage. If you don’t wash the liquid makeup off it will clog your pores. BareMinerals takes a little longer for me to break out, but it isn’t makeup so pure you can sleep in, there is no such thing.BareMinerals doesn’t break you out as quickly because you use so little of the product.

All in All, great product when my skin is behaving, but sometimes we all break out with blemishes and need that heavy concealer and need a good matte liquid foundation. It is a great addition to my makeup bag, but not great enough to be the only foundation I need.

5 Stars Amazing for fine limp hair
I stumbled on this product by accident. I needed a small hairspray while on a trip that would fit in my purse and held my breath as I paid $7 for a tiny can. I am so happy I didn’t put it back on the shelf! This hairspray goes on light but holds so well. On a day when my hair is flat or not looking so good, I style it .. spray the front then lean a bit forward and slightly upside down to let the spray set. When I look back up in the mirror the spray holds the “lift” in a very natural way. I wish I’d had this spray years ago. It also fights humidity, and being from Tennessee .. humidity is a big hairday killer. Thanks Sebastian! The 3 big 10 oz cans for under $28 more than makes up for the little can price. I’ve shared this product tip with my sister and a few friends who noticed how much better my hair was performing.
